Show BOTTERILL RETURNS FROMJDAHO JAUNT' Full of Enthusiasm Over Hudson Super Six; Makes i Fast Time. A trip of 242 miles, from Salt Lake City to Twin Falls, Idaho, in eight, hours and -fifty' minutes, and "with the car on high gear all the way, is the record rec-ord made by Frank Botterill of the Tom Botterill Automobile cbmpanyic a new Super-Six roadster last week. Mr. Botterill returned Friday night after delivering the new Super-Six roadster road-ster to Roy Spargo at Twin Falls. He reports one of tho most interesting jn-! terstate trips he has made in years. The performance of the Super-Six road- , stcr Mr. Botterill drove has so added to his fund of enthusiasm for the Super-Six Super-Six that his report of his Salt Lake-Twin Lake-Twin Falls jaunt forms one of the most interesting Super-Six incidents of the spring months. Mr. Botterill reports the roads between be-tween Salt Lake and JTwin Falls in splendid condition, and in discussing the performance of the Super-Six on the trip, he said yesterday: We made the run of 242 miles in eight hqurs and fifty minutes, and with the exception of stopping and starting the Super-Six, we drove the entire distance ou high gear. Take the trip Mr. Brown and mvself made last week from Salt Lake to Twin Falls. The thing that impressed me most regarding the performance of the car during the journey was the remarkablo ability of the motor to pick up the car and get away quickly and easily whenever we had to slow down for mud holes or bumps. We did not put oil or water m the car after leaving Salt Lake, and averaged fourteen, miles to a gallon of gasoline gaso-line on the trip. From Tremonton to Twin Falls, a distance of approximately 1G0 miles, we did not make a single stop. In the past ten years I have ridden rid-den in a good many automobiles, but I bar no car when I say that the Super-Six gives the most wonderful won-derful performance of any automobile automo-bile 1 have ever driven, all things considered. |
