Show OFFICIALS LEAVE FOR A CONFERENCE Local Studebaker Representatives Go East to Confer With Branch i Managers of Corporation. j General Manager T. W. Navlor and; Assistant Manager R. T. Mitchell of the ! Studebaker Brothers company of this city left yesrerdav afternoon for a trip to Detroit, where they will attend a conference of branch manners held at the factory. It has always .been the custom of the Stuiiebaker corporation to hold these annual meetings where the managers from the different branches meet to ex- hangp ideas, to oftY-r suggestions which they think will be to their mutual ben efit and to discuss business generally. The Studebaker corporation owes a great deal of its success in the automobile automo-bile industry to these meetings. The managers gather and submit suggestions 1 covering the wants of the people in i their own direct territory. This infor-j infor-j mation is carefully compiled and is turned over to the engineering department, depart-ment, which tries to carry out the suggestions sug-gestions of the brauch managers as far as possible. , This has been the means of enabling the company to build a car which fills every need and requirement regardless of the territory in which the car is sent. Through these meetings the wonderful Studebaker service system has been conceived,, con-ceived,, and it goes without saying that the service to owners is peconci to none-Mr. none-Mr. Kaylor and Mr. Mitchell expect to be gone ten days or two weeks and while in Detroit will make a special et-fort et-fort to induce the factory to increase the Salt Lake allotment of cars so that the agency here may have a quantity quan-tity sufficient to meet the local de-mauds. |
