Show SCHOOL TEACHERS TO SET EXAMPLE "Do as I do" and not "Do as T tell you to do" must be lived up to by Utah's public school teachers as the result of rules formulated yesterday hy the state board of education. A bulletin issued and circulated among teachers throughout through-out the state requests that teachers not only advise their pupils to live up to the standards of propriety set down by t he board, but also that the teachers, in order to set a good example, should govern themselves, during school hours and between, be-tween, by the same rules of decorum. Modesty In dress is demanded of the young women teachers in the bulletin, which also forbids them to depreciate the works of their predecessors and urges courtesy and consideration in dealings with pupils and others. |
