Show BOSTON SUFFRAGIST ! TO SPEAKFOR WILSON Mrs. Susan W. Fitz Gerald Will Address Rally Tonight To-night at Theater. Mrs. Susan W. Fitz Gerald of Boston, stiff rage worker, lecturer and author, will he the principal speaker at a Uem-oc Uem-oc ra tic-Progressive rally tonight at the I Salt Lake theater. Mrs. Fitz Gerald is scheduled to arrive ar-rive in Oden from the east this morning morn-ing and will cd dress a Democratic meeting meet-ing there this afternoon. It is probable that a delegation of local Democratic and Progressive women will go to Og-den Og-den to meet her and accompany her to Salt Lake, but this has not tieen definitely defi-nitely decided pending further communication commu-nication with Mrs. Fitz Gerald. She is expected to roach here about b" o'clock tonight. Mis. Fitz Gerald is filling the western west-ern engagements of Mrs. Elizabeth Buss of Chicago, who has been called to Illinois Illi-nois to partieipnte in tne campaign there. Mrs. 1- itz Gerald is assistant editor of the Woman's .Journal of Boston Bos-ton and for many years has been an active worker in the cause of woman's suffrage. But, with all her public activities, ac-tivities, she is an ardent, home woman and is in her happiest mood when discussing dis-cussing her five children. Mrs. Clarke, although a native of Kentucky, has been in Europe for the past twelve years up to a few weeks ago. Prior to coming bark to America she spent a year and a half in war-torn Belgium, and of conditions there and wax conditions in the countries in Europe Eu-rope she will talk principally tonight. Mrs. vVeber, like Mrs. Clarke, is a recent re-cent addition to Utah suffragists and much in (remand at meetings of Democratic Demo-cratic women throughout the state. All three of the speakers are opposed to the propaganda of the Woman's party and are expected to make vigorous at-tacV.? at-tacV.? l pon the organization at tonight's meeting. Mrs. F. S. Richards, president of thf State Suffrage Council of Women, Wom-en, will preside. |
