Show TRY TO SELL WOOL AND ARE ARRESTED William and John Owens, brothers, were arrested shortly after 5 o'clock last night by Deputy Sheriffs Penrose and Starbuck a they were waiting for payment pay-ment for four sacks of wool In the offices of the Utah Wool and Stock companv. The wool, 11 Is alleged, was stolen and shipped by them from Winnernucca, N'ev. According to Joseph Jones, special atrnt for the Oregon Short Line, who was until recently employed as warehouseman in the Southern Pacific wa rehouse at Winne-mucoa. Winne-mucoa. billed the wool to his brother in Salt Lake, but kept no record of the 1 shipment. The wool, which was valued at $100, was offered for sale by them at a muh smaller small-er figure, it is said. The brothers will be held for Winnemueca authorities. |
