HIM DIES HI HOSPITAL Young Man Succumbs to Injuries After Suffering Since Sept. 18. John Theodore Abrahamson or "Teddy," as he was called by his friends, died at the county hospital yesterday afternoon from Injuries received in an automobile accident In the southeastern part of the city during the early morning hours of September 18. Abrahamson had suffered suf-fered a fracture of the skull and other injuries, and scarcely regained consciousness conscious-ness during the time he was confined in the hospital. Abrahamson. was a member of the party occupying a car owned and driven by J. V. Bernstrom on the fatal night. Mrs. E. E. Lawless, another occupant of the car, was killed. An Investigation conducted con-ducted by the county attorney's office following the accident resulted in the filing fil-ing of a complaint against Bernstrom, charging Involuntary manslaughter in the case of Mrs. Lawless. At a hearing before be-fore a local precinct justice Bernst rom was exonerated. He removed to California Cali-fornia a few days ago. Abrahamson was a cousin of Bernstrom. Mr. Abrahamson was 20 years of age. He was a native of Sweden, and came to this country ten months ago. He was employed as ironworker in the J. P. Fowler plant. His father and mother, Andrew and Hulda Bernstrom Abraham-son, Abraham-son, reside in Data Carlla, Sweden. Conrad Con-rad T. Bernstrom. 1256 Emerson avenue, and F. P. Bernstrom, llflft Bryan avenue, are uncles of the dead man. A brother, William Abrahamson, lives in Loomis, Cal. Mrs. Johanna Bernstrom, grandmother grand-mother of the young man, lives in Salt Lake City. Funeral services will be held at the undertaking establishment of Joseph William Wil-liam Taylor at 2 p. m. tomorrow. Interment Inter-ment will be In Wasatch Lawn cemetery. |
