Show BUSINESS MEN WILL DISCUSS CANDIDATES Non-Partisan Ticket to Be Considered at Meeting Called for Tonight. Business men called by George "D. Aider and others to consider a "nonpartisan "non-partisan ticket" for tho present municipal muni-cipal campaign aro scheduled to meet tonight at the Commercial club to talk it over. The meeting will begin at 8 o'clock in tho assembly room of tlie, club. Mr. Alder and his eonf rcres; who believe that the question of nominating a mayor and city commissioners is .being too lightly considered by the people, expect a good turnout. Those interested have been active the last few days interviewing voters in the non-part isan ticket'' ida and recalling re-calling the action resultant from a mass meeting similar to tonight's, held at the Commercial club four years ago. Tonight's mentin will consider the candidates already announced for mayor, city commissioners and auditors, and it seems probable that many new uarnes will be heard during tho evening. |
