Show WILL CROWD WORK ON GREAT TUNNEL Or. W. Lambourne Announces Letting of Contract for 2000 Feet Additional. G. W. Iam bourne of the Daly -Judge and Snake Creek Tunnel properties, announced an-nounced yesterday the letting of a contract con-tract for 20i0 feet additional work un the driving of the grca t Snake Creek tunnel, which has even now penetrated the mountains of Park City d istrict a distance of more than 12.000 feet. "We are now making- troin twelve to seventeen feet every day," said Mr. Lambourne, Lam-bourne, "and we expect to have this last 2000 feet just contracted for, completed before the first of the year." He added that when this work was done a contract con-tract would be let for another 50u0 feet of work on the big bore, which is being driven for drainage, transportation and development purposes. The big waterway water-way in the tunnel is now nearly filled with the flow obtained. Mr. Lambourne said that conditions at the Daly-Judge were entirely satisfactory, with the usual tonnage being bandied. Good progress is being made in the Installation In-stallation of the Callow flotation process for the mill at the mine, the success of the new plant being assured from preliminary prelim-inary tests made on a small scale. |
