Show BIG NITRATE DEAL CLOSED IN OREGON The American Xltrate company, an Oregon corporation, capita lized for ?-('. -(H)0,00i closed a deal by which it paid $100,f'if0 for forty claims on nitrate potash lands located along Succor creek in eastern east-ern Oregon, and $n,non of that amount is now deposited to the credit of a Boise men, (Jeorge D. Huntley. Huntley was Interested with four others in part of the claims and has rIvpii an option on their property for Jfiu.OuO. This option was taken up. The first hp knew the deal had been closed was when he received notification from the bank tiiat there was Sil.cO.) to his credit. That the nitrate deposit belt promises to be one of the most important from a mining standpoint, as the result nf recent re-cent discoveries of nitrate of potash, is e i-len t f rom t he report s given out by Mr. Huntley. He sa ys t hat 46.nnu a cres in mining claims have been filed upon, the largest area in any mining section in the United States or Us possessions out-ide out-ide of Alaska.
