Show LESLIE FRAZER NEW CHRONICLE EDITOR He Wins Over His Only Opponent by a Vote of 124 to 101. Leslie Frazer won tho editorship of the Utah Chronicle in a close election vesterday at the University of Utah. 'The vote stood 12i for I'razor and 101 for Ashworth, his only opponent. The election was held to determine a successor suc-cessor to Clyde Sharp, editor-elect of this year's (Jhronicle, who died suddenly sudden-ly of heart trouble last week. Mr. Frazer has as ret made no announcement an-nouncement of hia atari" other than that of Kolla Thomas will perhaps have charge of the business department and Frank McConnell will be associate editor. edi-tor. According to Mr. Frazer he will use only one associate editor this year ami one man for the business department. depart-ment. In former years two men were used in each department. Mr. Frazer 's explanation for the departure is that the new system will be more efficient and will fasten the responsibility of each edition upon a certain few men.
