OCR Text	Show ROME, via Paris, Oct. 2, 4:25 a. m. The condition of Marquis di San Giu-liano, Giu-liano, minister of foreign affairs, who has been seriously ill, has ameliorated suddenly to such an extent that he was able yesterday to receive the Austrian minister in his bedroom in the presence of Premier Salandra. Cardinal Doniinio Ferrata, the papal secretary of state,' who also has been ill, is reported to be much better. It is stated that the operation which it was feared he would have to undergo is ; not now necessary.
