Show W. G. TUTTLE HAS IDEA FOR AUTOISTS Tags His Car When He Believes He Is Within Law, Before Police Have Opportunity. Here's a tip for autoists who have had arguments with the police over the enforcement en-forcement of the traffic ordinances: "Tag your car before the police tag von." The idea Is W. G. Tuttle's, and he is willing that fellow autolsts who have been called, unjustly they feel, to account ac-count for violations of the law, use It. Mr. Tuttle moored hie car on ilain street. No other cars were near, but while he was gone other cars came up and were parked too close. The police tagged ail or mem, nir. j uiue a nmuu-ed. nmuu-ed. .Mr. Tutlle felt that he did not convince con-vince the police that his car was there first and that he didn't come .to anchor too close to another car. So the next time he anchored his car he posted the following notice to the police on it : "Parked at 10:45 a. m.: no cars within twelve feet. Anple degrees to curb. All of the other 100 ordinances have been complied wit n. If any new ones are en-artod en-artod during present hour, I disclaim re-sponsibilitv. re-sponsibilitv. W. G. Tl"TTLE." |
