Show CITY COUNCILMEN DELAY SETTING 1939JM LEVY As the city council has until the second week of August to file 1939 tax levy, and members are anxious to have a conference with the auditor to make changes chang-es in apportionment of funds to different departments, the levy was not made Thursday night. The delay does not mean that the council is considering raising of the 13.5 mills levy set last year on real and personal property prop-erty within the city limits, City Recorder Eugene Morris stated. Renewal for one year of the lease on ground used as playground play-ground on lower Main street from U. S. Mines for $10 was approved. ap-proved.
