Litigation Litiga-tion between Die Round Mountain and Sphinx companies that has been going on for the past five years was settled late yesterday, when an agreement was signed by the directors of the two companies. com-panies. The agreement involves the absorption ab-sorption of the Sphinx by the Round Mountain and it is understood the Sphinx is to receive part cash and a bluck of stock in the consolidated concern. The Round Mountain company will Increase its capitalization to $1,5(J0.0A0. It lias recently re-cently acquired other properties, giving It an aggrega te area of upward of 1'nO acres, and will now proceed with the extraction ex-traction of ore from ground that has been in dispute. The company Is bald to have dimensions on the 700 level, which contains con-tains ore of high -milling grade. A full report will be issued In about a month, which will demonstrate the property to be in a strong position and that the value of its mill heads have been doubled in the past month. Yesterday's action will be ratified by a stockholders' meeting to be held soon. This agreement resulted from the efforts, continued through four years, of James Robertson of Tonopah. The Gold field -Sandstorm mine is reported re-ported to have tjtruck ore in a raise from the level. Goldfield Consolidated finally relinquished ltn option on the Aurora Consolidated properties at Aurora.
