The International Association of Chiefs of ; Police held a session which was three- j fourths peaceful today. It was warlike war-like only when the chiefs ventured to talk about women and women's clothes. William Wil-liam A. Pinkerton of Chicago "bolted the convention" as soon as the topic was mentioned. "It's too siMv to talk about," he muttered, mut-tered, as he strode away. "This isn't a convention of modistes." They all agreed that the "aero bandit" will he next in criminal evolution, necessitating neces-sitating aero police. Cincinnati landed the next convention of the association today, after a heated fight, in which San Francisco was opposing. oppos-ing.
