Through the beneficent offices of Judge Alexander McMa.stnr yesterday the lurid romance of George Uouscbenborg and Marguerite Wosob was brought to u satisfactory sat-isfactory conclusion. Rouachcnberg was releaHcd from the county Jail and wa married to his sweetheart In the office of Judge McMuatcr and by Judge McMaster. Several weeks ago rtouachenberg and the Wosob girl, the latter only 17 years old, eloped and went to Butte, Mont., after having been frustrtacd, through the elTorta of the girl's parents. In their attempts at-tempts to get marriage licenses at Farm-Ington Farm-Ington and Ogden. At Huttc thoy ran nfoul of the federal authorities nnd Rouschenberg was detained. de-tained. Later ho was released and the couple were put aboard a train for Salt Lake, he having promised to bring the girl back to her parents. Rouschenberg was arrested as he stepped from the train In this city, and after a hearing In tho Juvenile court was sentenced to Jail for contributing to the delinquency of the girl. He protested at the time that he had no Intention other than matrimony, nnd as he was taken to Jail he vowed his undying love for the girl. Having Investigated all sides of the un-fortunato un-fortunato affair, Judge McMaster decided that Ttouschenbcrg was sincere In his Intentions In-tentions and agreed to have the sentence suspended and allow the marriage. |
