March 13 the awards were received by Elvera Wolfe, high series; Ruth Granquist, high game. Team ratings Team No. 1: Mable Boberg, Elvera Wolfe, Ruth Granquist, Fae Hancock, Ida Bolman. This team has done very well. The two beginners, Fae Hancock and Ida Bolman have shown exemplary improvement. improve-ment. Team No. 1 are winners of 31 games and have lost but 5 games this half, a very creditable credit-able percentage. learn No. o: Dolores btoker, Midge Jensen, Marian Johnson, Agnes Johnston, Kay Braun. This team has run a very close second to team No. 1. Thursday, March 6 the two teams were tied 27 games each and are now 30 games for team No. 5, 31 games for team No. 1. Team No. 3: Mary Zaccaria, Lois Barlow, Babe Dowdell, Lucille Lu-cille Byrnes, Goldie Wilson, Fudgie Jacobson. Babe Dowdell is with her team again and building build-ing right back to first place. Goldie Wilson is a beginner with a bright future. She has done remarkably re-markably well. Team No. 2: Etta Sullivan, Jean Houston, Wilma Johnsen, Delia Della-Lucia, Isabell Larick. Lar-ick. Delia was a late comer but has done creditably. Next year she will be a bowler not to be taken lightly. Isabell is slowly edging her average into the higher high-er bracket. Team No. 4: Ann Marks, Ann Bolic, Helen Marks, Rose Rose-quist, Rose-quist, Harriet Bolton. This team seems to have had more than their share of bad luck this half. Rose is doing very nicely for a newcomer. Harriet has not missed mis-sed a bowling night this half. Team No. 6: Ruth Kidd, Jerry Ablett, Ethel Granning, Mern Robison, Maxine Gaythwaite. Mern has bowled well, her average aver-age steadily rising from 86 to 120. She will make a first class bowler next season. With practically perfect attendance, at-tendance, excepting those who were ill, this has been a very good season. s . |
