Show Spirit Of Mardi Gras Imbues Holy Rosary Parish Workers 1 Complete Program Events Listed For Tuesday and Wednesday, Mar. 25-26 Agnes Milner, secretary Mardi Gras, the most colorful and entertaining event of tha season, being sponsored by the Holy Rosary Catholic church, brings an invitation to the general gene-ral public to enjoy the many splendid program events Tues- , day and Wednesday, March 25 ' and 26, at the Civic Center. Opening at 6:30 p.m. next Tuesday with a dinner, during which musical entertainment will be given, the first night will . feature many concession booths, for Bingo, Country Store, fish pond, apron and fancy work, Sweet's candy, balogna and poultry. poul-try. Valuable prizes of lamps, chenille spreads, radio, blankets, etc., will be awarded at the various var-ious concessions- The hope chest will be given away at the second night. Bingham merchants and some out-ol-town establishments were very generous in donations to the Mardi Gras. It is announced by Mrs- Thomas Thom-as Caulfield, general chairman and Altar society president, that th bazaar will open Tuesday afternoon af-ternoon at one. Articles will be on sale both afternoons and evenings eve-nings of the two days. Climaxing the carnival dance Wednesday evening will be the announcement ,of a queen from the following attractive candidates: candi-dates: Kathleen Taylor, Virginia Baras, Patricia Mannion, Betty Byrne, Kathleen Grabner, Rae Tibolla, Mary Pazell, Elma Stri-lich, Stri-lich, Eileen Perea. Contest winner win-ner will receive a complete out fit for spring-Dance spring-Dance and dinner tickets bring . the purchaser a chance on the expensive ex-pensive door prizes to be given each evening. Hall decorations will carry out the festive carnival carni-val spirit.
