EARTHQUAKE SHOCK FELT IN SALT LAKE Oxford and Downey, Tda., reported a distinct earthquake shock, which occurred oc-curred at 1 o'clock this morning. The report was mndo .to tho Oregon Short Lino dispatcher's office In this city. Operators Op-erators at both places said that the farmers farm-ers In that vicinity were aroused by the earth's trembling and were telephoning around the country to find out about IL i It Is believed that little damago was done. The only placo in Salt Lake where the earthquake Is said to have boon noticed was In the telephone building, Tho operators, op-erators, who are located on the top floor, said that they had felt tho shoclc, which seemed to rock tho building about three Inches. No other reports of the shake-up shake-up were reported up to an early hour this morning.
