A movement that may become nation-wide in its scope was started- here yesterday, when present and past representative department commanders com-manders of Idaho Ladles of the G. A. R. declared for a combining of Thanksgiving Thanksgiv-ing day with the date of the anniversary of Lincoln's Gettysburg speech. Tho following fol-lowing dispatch was sent to President Wilson: Boise circle of the Ladles of the G. A. R. urge tho selection of November No-vember 19 as Thanksgiving day this year. Wo believe that It wlll restore the- day to Its proper observance.
