Show IDAHO WILL BUILD II STATE HIGHWAY Commission Decides on System Sys-tem to Be Adopted and Plans Immediate Work. Special to The Tribune. BOISE, Idaho, Sept. 30. The state highway high-way commission completed a two days' session today by adopting a state highway high-way system on which work is to commence com-mence immediately with surveys and preparation prep-aration for actual construction. ISdward St. Clair Smith was employed as state highway engineer for three months. Ho Is authorised to commence work forthwith in the survey of that portion por-tion of tho north and couth road between New .Meadows and Grangevllle on the east and west road from Olds Ferry to Mont-pelier Mont-pelier on the Pan Handle National Highway High-way Link from Spokane Bridge to Streglc Pass. The highway systom for tho state as adopted, follows: Kast and west highway From Olds Ferry on the Oregon-Idaho boundary lino east through Welscr, Payette. Pay-ette. Caldwell, Boise, Bliss, Uagerman, Twin Falls, American Fall3, Pocatello, McCammon, Pebble, Montpellor and Paris to Utah line. Western north and south highway From Bolso north via Long valley to New Meadows, Grangevllle, Lowlaton, Moscow, Coour d'Aleno to SandpolnL Eastern north and south highway Irom Idaho Falls northwest following Birch crook to Gllmore, Salmon and Crowfoot Pass, connecting with Montana state highway. Spokane to Streglc Pass highway From Spokane bridge cast to Cocur d'Alene. Ca-taldo. Ca-taldo. Wallace. Mullan, linking Washington Washing-ton and Montana national highways. McCammon Mc-Cammon to Utah line From McCammon south through Bannock and Oneida counties coun-ties to Utah. |
