Francis, Fran-cis, supcriuieiidont of the-Los AnpeJcs public schools, will bo the puests and principal speakers at the slate teachers' teach-ers' convention to be held here Monday, Mon-day, Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Dr. Clapton is scheduled to deliver de-liver two lectures, ouo on "World Peace.'" The subject of tho other lecture lec-ture has not been announced. Superintendent Superin-tendent Francis of Los Anpeles is an authorit' on the subject of reorpaniz-iup reorpaniz-iup the public school system and wiil discuss that topic. The convention will open at 10 o'clock Monday morninp in the assembly assem-bly hall. Tho principal mcotinp each day will bo held in (.lie assembly hall, whilo ihe departmental mcotinps will be held at the university, the hiph school and other school boildinps about the city.
