He and a number num-ber of his little companions found giant-powder giant-powder caps and look them home. Not knowing what they were or the danger in using them, tho child put one of the caps In the stovo Wednesday evening about G o'clock. Tt exploded Instantly. Pieces flew into the llttlo fellow's face nnd body. Inflicting a great many wounds, also blowing off tho thumb and tho lirst two fingers of ills left hand. Besides losing his lingers, ho was rendered ren-dered blind temporarily. Mrs. Kendall took her little son to a Salt Lako hospital hos-pital this morning, whore his eyes will bo given special attention. |
