Show Teachers Assigned. Special to Tho Tribune. TOOELE. "cpt. 16. Tho Tooele district dis-trict schools opened yesterday with the largest enrollment yet attained here. This was to be expected when the recent enrollment showed 1)57 children in the district between the ages of fi and IS years nearly 100 more than any previous pre-vious year's census. The following list of teachers gives the assignments for the present year: Alfred Al-fred M. Nelson, district supervisor: Stanley Stan-ley Johnson, music; Marie Clark, art; Delia L. Gruen. eighth grade; C. U. Barton, Bar-ton, seventh grade; Blaine Watson, sixth grade; Ruby Naigle, fifth grade; Gene Cannon and Salome McKean, fourth guide: Francis Shields, third grade: Dora Hunter and Naomi McKean, second grade; Agnes Stewart and Bee Beck-stead, Beck-stead, first grade On the east side Perclval J. Rock Is principal, assisted by Edith McKean. Besides these, O. A. Bates, Georgia Crclghton and Miss Larson will hold sway In the Lincoln district. The rooms are crowded and soon a new grade school building will bo necessary to accommodate the fast-Increasing imputation. |
