Iarge flclda and clUso finishes marked the opening today of a five-day grand elreult harness meeting meet-ing here. Directum I, making his debut on a western track, romped away with the 2:0n pace. Pressed for a time in the llrst boat by Flower Direct, the sensational sensa-tional pacer came to the front on the .'itrclch, secured a safe load and came under the wire without greatly exerting himself.
