Show THE TRADE EXCURSION. A great suceeRfS may safely be forecasted fore-casted for the Commercial Club trade extension excursion which leaves this city tomorrow evening, to be gone seven days. Tho excursion will touch fort-eight fort-eight communitien in southern Idaho, eastern Oregon, and western Wyoming. The various commercial organizations of tho plnces to bo visited aro in full accord with this oxcursion, and have made suitable arrangements to meet tho oxcursion part' and talk business with its members. T; is expected that tho trade relations rela-tions to be established on this excursion excur-sion will be uot only extensive, but close; for, as has been slated in these columns heretofore, and as is dwelt upon by Salt Lake's business men who have given their approval to this trade extension oxcursion, thero is nothing like the personal contact, tho touch of mind, and tho meeting of interests by this personal contact, in establishing friendly, close, and permanent trade rclalions. Tho object of this excursion is em-phaticall' em-phaticall' to establish such -close trade relations, not nierelj' to show tho advantage ad-vantage to the communities visited, as woll as to Salt Lake, in those relations. That is to say, it is not to be a merely persuasive excursion, but an executive one, one that will actually and firmly establish tho trade relations sought, for the benefit of both parties. The oxcursion goes with tho utmost good will and hearty support from Salt Lake. It will doubtless rolum with the utmost good will and hearty support sup-port from all tho communities visited, and thus will the personal contact prove mutually beneficial and pornianont. |
