REPUBLICANS ISSUE CALL FOR MEETING A call was Issued last night for a meeting of the Republican city commlttoo to bo held next Thursday night at tho office of John F. Bowman, dialrman of the committee. The meeting will be for the purpose of Indorsing two of tho four successful nominees at today's primary election. Apparently the meeting is called on the assumption that at least two of the four fcuccessful candidates todav will be Republicans. Tho dty committee will probably be asked to place the Republican organization behind the Republican Candida Candi-da tea and to work for their success at thu llnal election two weeks hence.
