In a fiercolv contested judicial election Charles 0. Craig, Democrat, of Galesburg was elected today to the Illinois supreme bench to succeed Judge John P. Hand, by a majority of 3GI0 over Judge lies-lie lies-lie T). Putcrbaugh. Kepublican. Arthur II. Shay, the Progressive candidate, ran nearly 5000 votes behind the Kepublican Ke-publican candidate. A number of Chicago women, prominent promi-nent in tho woman's stiff rago movement, move-ment, stumped the district in behalf of Shav.
