PROGBESSIVE business men will he in evidence at the forthcoming forthcom-ing Tran8mississippi congress, which will be held at the Assembly As-sembly hall on Temple Bquare August 27 to 30. From the mass of mail that is coming- in to the office of Secretary E. J. Becker every state west of the Mississippi will be represented in delegations dele-gations numbering from a score to a couple of hundred. From far-off Hon olulu James F. Morgan, a live wire of Hawaii, is now breasting the billows with Salt Lake as his objective point. Gilbert B. Daniels, owner of the Oak laud Enquirer and the Morning Times, also has signified his intention of coming in order to take part in the deliberations of tho congress and otherwise other-wise be a factor in drawing attention to the resources of the 'ast territory west ol the Mississippi in genera and the opportunities of the west proper in particular, ltight now the busiest man of the three is Sam F. Dutton of Denver. In his normal state Mr. Dutton is identified identi-fied in tho public eye as president of the Albany Hotel companv, chairman of the convention bureau of the Den ver chamber of commerce and several other public offices that ouglu to keep an average man busy. "Sam' Dutton, Dut-ton, however, is not an average man and the enthusiastic fashion in which he is stirring up things as chairman of the "See America First'' committee of the congress is as good as a three-ring three-ring circus.
