Baird. who died at his homo In Syracuse on Wednesday morning, after a lonj: and painful Illness of rheumatism, extending over a period of seven years, were hold from the Syracuse meeting houso this afternoon at 2 o'clock, and wero very largely attended. A largo number of carriages followed tho remains to their last resting place In the Syracuse cemetery. ceme-tery. Deceased was nearly sixty years of age, and was an earnest worker In anything ho undertook to do. and was hlghlv respected by all who knew him.
