Show !The Hofbrau" to Open to the Public Today Tn The Hofbrau, which opens today as a German restaurant of a type practically prac-tically hitherto unknown in Salt Lake, this city will have one of tho finest establishments of the kind west of the Missouri river. The Hofbrau was formerly for-merly the Louvre, located under Walker brothers' bank, at Second South and Main streets. Tho management of the placo is unchangod. Eugene L. Willo still having charge, but instead of catering cater-ing to tho after-theater patronage, Tho Hofbrau will make a specialty of a luncheon for business and professional men. Tho place will be formally opened at 11 o'clock Saturday. A luncheon including rice tomato soup, colery, .beef a la mode, hamburger steak Spanish, prime ribs of beef an ;jus, different vegetables, fruit pudding and coffee will bo served. Tho Hofbrau will make a specialty of German dishes nnd will offer Mar-inirtc, Mar-inirtc, kippered and Bismark herrings, imported Ementhaler, Caniembcrt, Prom-ngo Prom-ngo do brio and Roquefort cheese, Ccr-velat Ccr-velat wurst, pate do fois gras. hamburger ham-burger eel, kaltcr aufschnitt" and other German specialties. A high-class line of imported beers and wines aro included in The Hofbrau stock. |
