Show SACKED CONCERT AT THE ILIPF METHODIST CHURCH Tho sacred concert given Sunday evening even-ing at the 111 rr -Methodist church under the direction of airs. Henry KIrkman, the musical director, was a. big success. The four numbers In the chorus choir and the selection by the lliff IIale quartette quar-tette were well rendered and showed careful care-ful preparation. Miss Faith Curl, with a piano solo, and Miss Leonora Smith, with a selection on the violin, delighted the audience. The vocal solos by Mrs. Kirkman. C. V. Torraneo and Joseph Toll, met Willi hearty appreciation; Miss Margaret Du-vall Du-vall and Mrs. KIrkman joined in a beautiful beauti-ful plnno duet, and tho accompanist work of tli-se ladies and Miss Martha. Smith was perfdr.Nd in a creditable manner. As a i losing number the audience joined with the chorus choir In singing "Coronation," and the benediction was given by tho Rev. David W. Crane, the pastor. |
