Show PAYS TO BE MORMON; IS ONE AND GLAD OF IT Special lo Tho Tribune. MURRAY, Fcb. 6. William A. Morion. In the First ward chapel here tonight, lectured on the subject, "Does It Pay to Be a Mormon?" In his opinion It docs. Mr. Morton, in his address, spoke of what tho Mormon church has done In Utah. Ho spoke of the doctrines of the Mormon Mor-mon church, what they mean and how they should bo lived up to. He compared them with the doctrines of the Christian organizations throughout tho world and told how they were superior to those of other denominations, Mr. Morton said thai ho was happy In the thought that ho Is a Mormon nnd Is of tho opinion that, ore long tho work of the Mormon church will spread to greater fields; that Is, when tho people who do not believe In some of Its principles prin-ciples get the right Idea. Mr Morion was tho means of filling the First ward chapel to Its capacity. One of the features of the meeting was tho excellent music furnished. Tho participants par-ticipants were the Farmers' Ward choir anil the ladles' quartette, selected from tho Murray choir. |
