EUREKA & PALISADE MATTER HANGING FIRE Up to Saturday there had been no meeting of the stockholders of tho Eureka Eu-reka fc Palisade Railroad company in this city to determine the future of the organization. There was a special session ses-sion scheduled for over a month ago, hut it has failed to materialize so far. The point to bo determined Is whether or not the stockholders will exorcise their equity of redemption nnd purchase the road from the present, owner or release their equity so that the owner can reconstruct re-construct the road. There Is tittle or no question but what the United States Smelting. Rellnlng &. Mining company would rebuild the line to their Eureka mines should this equity be released. It looks, however, as If the company will have to ivnll. until the equity terminates by law before proceeding. proceed-ing.
