Show ESTATE FINALLY SETTLED. Various Interests Divide Property Left by John Contos. Special to The Tribune. OGDEN, March 25. For more than two years the estate of John Contos. a former Greek merchant of Ogden, who ! was murdered by one of his countrymen, lias been In the probate division of the district court, during which time there has resulted considerable litigation among tho heirs and respective creditors. The Hnal chapter in the settlement of the estate was closed today when reports from the administrator, appraisers, attorneys at-torneys and others Interested in the winding wind-ing up of the estate were approved by the court. The estate was valued at J25.000. The cost of administering the estate was $3133.57, which Includes tho administrator's administra-tor's and appraiser's fees and the inheritance in-heritance tax. The bulk of tho estate has been pur-chaacd pur-chaacd by George Allison, a relative of Contos now living nt Denver. That part which relatives In Greece have refused to transfer to Allison will be distributed' among the other heirs of the estate. |
