OCR Text	Show GAMBLERS USE SAWDUST TO CONFOUND POLICE By Associated Press. NEW YORK. March 25. Sawdust is the latest wcaoon of the New York gamblers against their foes, the police raiders. It was used effectively late last night when eleven bluccoats assailed as-sailed a suspected gambling house in the downtown district. Tho police were breaking their way into tho place with axes when sudden!' the wall gave way and they wero buried under four tons of sawdust, which blinded them for several sev-eral minutes. The gamblers and their patrons took advantage of this temporary tem-porary blindness of the raiders to escape by fire escape and roof.
