A. ! -1 Munsey, a well-to-do cigar dealer of J Twenty-fifth street, owning properly val- r ued at more than $10,000, forfeited a bond U or $1U0. N Munsey was first charged with petit HY larceny In connection with the theft of a f ,' (luantlty of groceries from the store of i " tho Edgar Jones company. The city !'- failed to convict him on this charge and the charge of receiving stolen goods was hi substituted against him. f J. Stanley, a ward of the juvenile ,! court, confessed to the police that he had I iA stolen the articles from the store at the i solicitation of Munsey, who had agreed to , P".v him for them. The stolen property I'l wsis found In Munsey's place of business JJ and returned to the owner. |
