LIGHTHOUSE KEEPER MARTYR TO HIS DUTY SOUTH NORWALK, Conn.. Jan. IS. Lero' Loughborough, keeper of the Green Reef light in Long island sound, off this city, is dj-ing from tuberculosis as a result of an experience last March while at his post. He( remained on duty eloven days practical' without food and suffered nlso from exposure. His only companion was a dog with which he shared his provisions until they were exhausted When help came Loughborough was found unconscious on the floor near his engine. Although a strong man physically up to this time, ho never recovered his health and his physicians sa.y that ho cannot survive more than a month longer.
