Show STRANGER IN OGDEN IS SEPARATED FROM MONEY Special to The Tribune. OGDEN Jan. IP J. W. Cunnlnglon of Rupert Ida . reported to the poll e tonight to-night that he had been flim-flammed out of $80 by a well-dressed stranger, who approach, d him at the Pnlon depot arid told B bard-luck story of having a sh-k sister at the Pacific hotel: for whom he desired to gel out some express packages pack-ages In one of the local offices. After letting the stranger have the money, Cunnuigton was told to remain at the Station until the stranger's return, when the money would be repaid after the stranger succeeded in cashing a cheek. Cunnington waited several hours and tiii n realizing that he had bec-n duped reported his loss to the police. Cunning-ton Cunning-ton arrived In Ogden today with his Wife, whom be brought here for n surgical surgi-cal operation. No clew to the smooth swindler has been obtained by tho police. |
