Show University Notes Dr. R. R. "Lyman of tho department of civil engineering at tho university, attended at-tended the meeting Tuesday of the state road commission, of which he Is a member. mem-ber. The meeting related to tho state road convention to bo held on January 26, at which ono of the professors of the engineering school will give a paper on "Good Roads." The Tatln circle will have as the programme pro-gramme of lis regular semi-monthly meeting today a storeopticon lecture on the "Roman Forum." The lecture Is to be given at 4 o'clock in tho musoum building. Two magazine articles havo been prepared pre-pared recently by Dr. Lyman, one on "Modern Filing Systems." and the second sec-ond for "The Good Roads Aulomoblllst" on "Methods of Earth-Road Construction." Construc-tion." The second article likely will be used as a bulletin of the university and the public Tho university gymnasium was a busy scene Tuesday afternoon as tho decorating deco-rating for the junior prom was started in full blast. Tho carpenters' committee commit-tee built the floor for the circular hanging hang-ing basket, which will be used as a music mu-sic stand; tho celling commltteo arranged pulleys for raising the wires upon which the lattice work will be placed, and the girls of the class continued their work of making flowers. Many of tho booths have been started by the different organizations organ-izations and from Indications the work will be entirely finished by Friday night.
