Show MANY ATTEND FUNERAL OF GifiLESJ. PUNT High Mormon Church Officials Pay Tribute to His Memory. Funeral services over tbo late Charles M". Plant, the pioneer blacksmith of Utah, who .died Wednesday of general debility, were held at tho Seventeenth ward meeting meet-ing house. The little chapel was filled Uth many friends of Mr. Plant, and tho floral offerings were beautiful. Addresses were made by Joseph E. Taylor. Nephi L. Morris. John Henry Smith and RIshop William Wood of the Nineteenth ward. Music, was furnished by the ward choir. The pallbearers were Ned Iluck. Charles Buck. C. II. Brown James Frame. Charles Wright and P. T Hanson. Interment was in the City cemetery. cem-etery. Mr. Plant was the pioneer blacksmith of Utah and had lived in Salt Lake City since lSi.IIc Is survived bv a widow living at 2fi7 West First -North street, and three daughters, and one son; aNo ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. |
