Show EIGHTY-ONE RECORDS : BROKEN III BIKE RACE; Pyc and Hehir of Salt Lake Lead; Clarke Holds Seven of the Marks. As the result of the lust six days' race the records for thnt style of contest have undergone considerable change. Although Al-though Ihe record of 2737 1-10 miles, made by Macfarland and Moran in 100s was not broken, many of I ho intermediate intermedi-ate distances went by tho hoards. Thfe record breaking began with the fourteenth hour and continued until after the thirty-first hour, when the pare sackened In the thirty-sixth hour the riders again got inside the old records and continued until after the fortv-fourlh fortv-fourlh hour. The forty-firth hour record was not broken, but from lhe fortv-slxth hour until the one-hundredth hour, the old figures fell jn quick succession, but thereafter ami until the finish at IIJ hours, the field steadllv fell behind the marlcs mad in last year's contest. In all. eighty-one hour records were brolten in the race, the team of I'ye and Hehir placing iwenl.v-two nf them to Its credit. Ilalstead and Lawrence are second, sec-ond, with thirteen remrds, and Root and I'olccr third with eleven records. Anderson An-derson and Vanoni scored seven. Rutt and Stol . sl.v.
