Show Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cohn Celebrate Silver Anniversary of Their Wedding Surrounded by Numerous Kinsfolk Seated under bowers of fragrant white roees and carnations, and 'surrounded by the redolent atmosphere of the sweet-scented sweet-scented flowers, more than 100 relatives and closo friends of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cohn drank to the toast. "May you live to sec the silver turn to gold." at their silver wedding anniversary celebration, held at the beautiful Cohn residence at 535 East Second South slrcol Thursday evening. Tho event was one of the most elaborate elabo-rate of its kind that has over been held in Salt Lake. City; it was a magnificent affair. In tho beautiful decorations, tho sliver scheme was carried out. Silver festooning adorned the doorways and windows, while streamers wero draped from the center of the room. A beautiful large white swan adorned the center of the big table at which wero scaled 3Ir. and Mrs. Cohn and the immediate im-mediate members of the family. The swan was placed on a largo mirror which cast its reflection, as if the swan were swimming In the water, while around the edge was a border of while roses and carnations. The other tables were decorated deco-rated with flowers. An elaborate supper was served, the sliver sli-ver scheme being carried out throughout. Harry Joseph acted as loastmastcr and i among those who responded to the toasts wore Rabbi Charles J. Freund, Christopher Christo-pher Dlohl. Sr., and Simon Bamberger. Mr. and Mrs. Colin have live children, three boys and two girls, and all of these wero present at the affair. Mrs. Martin Solomon, mother of Mrs. Cohn, nnd Miss Helen Schiff, a niece, wore also present, having come from their home In Now York to attend the anniversary -celebration. |
