Show CONTINENTAL CASK IS UP BEFORE SUPREME COURT The supreme court held a short session ses-sion on Saturday morning and heard arguments in tlie case of George S. Kimball vs. ,lohn Dorn. 11. C. Edwards, W. 'V. ?ice. W. S. McCornick and W. II. Cunningham, otlicers and directors of the Continental Life Insurance & Invest In-vest men t eomp.'iny, appellants. Kimball brought an action in the district dis-trict court asking for a writ of mandate against the defendants to compel them to permit him to examine the books and records of the company, he being a stockholder of the company. Judge Armstrong issued the writ ot mandate whereupon the defendants appealed to the supreme court. .Judge T. U. Lewis of the Third district court, took the jlace of Justice Frick on the supreme bench during the hearing today, as tho latter is out of the eitv. The matter was taken under advisement by the court. |
