CLAIMS OP FRAUD AND CONSPIRACY ARE MADE Nevada Hills Property, Worth Two Million Dollars. Involved in Case. Special to The Tribune. GOLDF1ELD, Nov., July 10. Various Var-ious Salt Lake owners of tho Nevada Hills mine in Churchill county are defendants de-fendants in a highly sensational suit filed today, together with a lis pendens involving ownership of the property. The plaintiff is George A. Bethune. who is associated with Harry P. Lind of Goldfield. Lind recently brought an action against John T.'Tlodson and others for a big block of stock, claiming that he and George A. Kacding had been cheated out of the security as a result of a conspiracy lo nullify a grub-stake agreement . This case was decided in favor of the Salt Lake parties. Pcthiine now sues John T. Hodson, W. II. Clark, John A. Kirby and W. V. Rice, all of Salt Lake, and the Nevada Ne-vada Hills Mining company, the purpose pur-pose being to set aside the deed from them to the corporation. The main allegation al-legation is that fraud was committed as the result of a conspiracy to defraud Bethune and his associates out of their share of the . property. The court is asked to appoint a receiver. Tho Nevada Hills is one of tho bonanza properties of Nevada, is worth two millions and has paid a fortune in dividends. The latest suit may involve the affairs of the company for two or three years. W. H. Clark, one of the defendants in the case above referred to, said, when- informed early this (Sunday) morning of the above dispatch, that ho understood tho purpose of tho action was the- recession of a deed to Mr. Hodson from Lind and associates for his share of tlie property, lie added that Pelhune was in nowise interested in the Nevada Hills mines at the lime of the filing or determination of the first suit, which was decided only three weeks ago.
