Show I LOGAN SOCIETY Special to Tho Tribune, LOGAN, Nov. 21. Mrs. Guy Thatch-or Thatch-or and Mrs. E. W. Robinson ontortained most delightfully Wednesday aftornoon at tho homo of Mrs. Thatcher, in honor of the Clio circle. Tho rooms wero artistically ar-tistically arranged with potted plants, aud the, ladies enjoyed tho afternoon with their Kcnsingtou. A literary gamo was played and the prizes wero won bv Mrs. I. S. Smith, Mrs. Alf Colo and Mrs. E. D. Ball. Delicious refreshments refresh-ments woro 6ervod, and those assisting Mrs. Thatchor and Mrs. Robinson wero Mrs. Georgo W. Thatcher and Miss Dora Wright. On Saturday afternoon Mrs. Guy Thatcher was hostess at a second very prcttiky appointed Kensington, complimentary compli-mentary to tho A. C. Woman's club. Tho rooms wore bright with cut flow-ors flow-ors and potted plants, and a very pleasant pleas-ant afternoon waB onjoyed. Mrs. Harry Erncis returned homo from Salt Lake, after visiting for ten days with Mrs. Bing. Alex Preston returned homo Thursday Thurs-day from a ten days' visit in tho city. Mrs. Luther Howell roturncd homo Wednesday from a week spent in Salt Lako. Matt Cunningham of Ogden spent, several days of tho woek in Logan. The A. C. Woman 's club met Monday Mon-day afternoon with Mrs. Willard Lang-ton. Lang-ton. Miss Kyle read a verv interesting paper on "Thnckeray," while Miss Wilkinson Wil-kinson read, in her usual charming manner, a bnrlesquo 1)3 Thackeray on Kcbecca and uowona. ' R. L. Campbell spent tho week in Salt Lake. B. H. Roberts spent the early part of tho week in Logan, the guest" of his daughter, Mrs. T. W. Nay lor. Mr. aud Mrs. Albert Kiug of Park City aro visiting with Logan friends. Will Raymond of Star Valle', Wyo., spent the week in Logan. Mr. and Mrs. William Allen of Covo arc visiting with their relatives in Logan. Miss Nottio Amussen of Salt Lako spent tho week in Logan, tho guest of Miss Ida Mitchell. Mrs. William B. Preston of Salt Lake is the guest of Mrs. Kate Preston. Pres-ton. Edgar Thatcher is in Logan from Rexburg. having come here on account of tho illness of his father, A. D. Thatcher. Mr. and Mrs. William Normandy loft Saturday to make their home in Ogden. Og-den. Mrs. John A. McAlistor is visiting in Salt Lake. John B. Thatcher of Gentilo Valley, is visiting with Logan friends and relatives. rela-tives. Stanley Darger left Tuesday for Provo, after a sis months' stay in Logan. Orson Smith returned to Nevada Wednesday, after a two weeks' visit with his family. Mrs. Joseph Howell is back from a Salt Lake visit.
