Show Mantt Personals. Special to Tho Tribune. MANTI, Nov. 21. Professor David R. Boyd of Now York and Rev. Josiah McLain of Salt Lako City spent Tuesday Tues-day in Manti. Professor Boyd preached in tho Presbyterian church Tucsdny evening. They aro traveling in the interests of tho mission schools. They loft for tho south Wednesday, and were accompanied bv Dr. and Mrs. Martin. Tho little child of Mr. and Mrs. Niels R. Peterson died Sunday last and was buriod Tuesday. Mrs. Maria Lowry .returned Tuesday from Provo, where sho has been visiting visit-ing her daughter, Mrs. McArthur. Mrs. T. Warner and two daughters came down from Idaho Monday last aud will remain hero with Mrs. Warner's War-ner's mother. Mrs. Adeline Buchanan, during the winter. Mrs. Warner, who spent her childhood in Manti, has been away twentv-two years. Mr. and "Mrs. Frank Cox are rejoicing re-joicing over tho arrival of a baby girl on Sunday last. Mrs. Warren Petty of Storling and Mrs. Joseph Braithwaite of Manti were taken to St. Mark's hospital Wednesday Wednes-day last by Dr. Georgo L. Scars. Mrs. Potty will bo operated on for tho removal re-moval of a tumor and Mrs. Braithwaite for appendicitis. Arthur Burns of Mt. Pleasant is visiting with his brother, J. M. Burns. Born, to Mr. and Mrs. Charles W. Luke, a boy. Tho public school teachors went to Fairvicw Thursday to attend tho teachers' institute. Mrs. J. H. Hornung entortained a few of her friends at a social toa Thursday afternoon. Mrs. Jerome Jlcnrio has been confined con-fined to her bed this week with la grippe. Miss Bertha Leonard and Miss Mvr-tlo Mvr-tlo Nclson entertained a party of voung , peoplo Friday evening at tho Mission home. . Mr. and Mrs. William Funk of Im-blor, Im-blor, Or., aro visiting with Mr. Funk's sister, Mrs. Lewis Larsen. Mr. and Mrs. A. II. Christensen were Salt Lake visitors this week. L. R.
