Show Springville News. Special to The Tribune. SPRINGVILLE, ' Oct. 2. The progressive prog-ressive element of Springville secured a grand, victory at the mass meeting at the city hall, which was called by the mayor to get the sentiment of the citizens in regard to installing water works in Springville. Tho meeting was one of tho largest of the kind ever held in this cityr and a vote taken on the question at issue stood 100 for waterworks and six against. The city council was instructed to call a special election as soon as possible to vote on tho question of bonding tho citv for $30,000 to install waterworks. l.t is estimated that the system will cost $40,000, but the city now has in the neighborhood of $10,000 availablo funds on hand for this purpose. From all indications in-dications now the election will declare for bonds and waterworks. J. M. Pcirco and 'Miss Jennie Ballin-tine, Ballin-tine, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William Wil-liam Ballintine, wcro married Tuesday Tues-day evening at the home of the bride's pnrents. J. S, Olsen of Spanish Fork and Miss Jennie Chase of this citv were married last evening at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. D. Chase. The ceremony was performed by Bishop O. B. Huntington of the First ward. |
