Since tho Clh of last July, the management man-agement of the Mendha-N'evada Alining company has forwarded to the Salt Lake ore market nine cars of ore, the local officials settling yesterday for the ninth car. Local Representative Porkos. stated to The Tribune Tuesday that the tlrst eight cars of ore averaged net ?13j2 per car; carrying ores valued on an average as follows: Gold, 0.M ounce: silver, lo otinces; lead, L'G per cent, nnd Iron 14 per I cent. This ore docs not come from .sloping .slop-ing operations, but Is thi product entirely entire-ly of the development work that Is being accomplished by the company. The Mendha -Nevada is one of thc old producers of the Ploche camp, and like manv old-timers of that famous Neada mining camp, this particular mine Is being be-ing reopened to splendid advantage. The formation within which the ore bodies are found Is characteristic of the district, and a very fine tonnage of good rock s being placed in sight for future disposition. disposi-tion.
