NoUco Is hereby given by tho city council coun-cil of Salt Lake City of tho Intention of such council to make the foUowlng described de-scribed improvement, to-wlt: To grade, and pavo with asphalt two roadways (iald asphalt pavement on each of said roadways to be twenty-four (24) feet wide and nine and one-half (9J) Inches thick), with a twonty-four (24) foot park between. Sixth East street be-twoen be-twoen South Temple and Third South streeLs, whore macadam pavement now exists. In paving -district No. 20, and defray de-fray the abutters' portion of the cost and expense t.horeof. cstlmalod at twenty-flvo twenty-flvo thousand nlni? hundred and thlrty-olcht thlrty-olcht ($26.93S.00) dollars, or six and 55-100 ($6.55) dollars per front foot of abutting property, there being 39G0 feet abutting said improvement, by a local assessment upon the lots or pieces of ground within tho following described district, being thu district to be affected and benefited by said Improvement, namely: Tho east side of lot.i 1 and 3, block Cl; tho east side of lots 1, 0. 7 and 8. block 52; tho oast side of lots 1 and S, block 47; tho west side of lots 2. 3. 4 and C. block CO; the west side of lots 4 and 5. block 53; tho west sldo of lots 2. 3. 4 and 5. block 46, all In plat "13," Salt Lako City survey. To total cost of said Improvement is estimated at twenty-seven thousand four hundred and thirty-eight (J27.43S.00) dollars, dol-lars, of which sum the city's portion Is ono thousand five hundred ($1500.00) dollars, dol-lars, leaving twenty-live thousand nine hundred and Uilrty-elght (S25.93S.00) dollars dol-lars to be raised by local assessment. All protests and objections to tho carrying carry-ing out of such Intention must be presented pre-sented In writing to tho City Recorder on or before the 21st day of December, 1908. being tho time set by said council when It will hear and consider suob protests and objections as may be made thcroto.
